The ZoneShield Oscillating Fan hidden spy camera by SleuthGear is an all-in-one, high-resolution, hidden camera system disguised as an ordinary Oscillating Fan. Motion activated video is captured through a micro camera embedded into the stereo system. Your video is then captured by an internal digital video recorder where is saved to a removable SD memory card. With 720 x 240 resolution, this hidden spy camera is one of the best available today. Blending into any decor, this unassuming Oscillating Fan holds a secret. Cleverly concealed inside this fully functional unit is the most powerful camera and digital video recorder (DVR) system on the market that records right onto an SD card.

Introducing the latest addition to the SleuthGear family, the Zone Shield! Zone Shield hidden video recording systems are built-in to actual working electronics or small appliances. Zone Shield records your hidden video footage onto a MicroSD card with up to 32GB storage space (supports SDHC).

Unlike other hidden video recorders, Zone Shield recording systems feature the added protection of the requirement to use proprietary software to play back the video files on the SD Card. Even if your SD card gets into the wrong hands, the files within cannot be played back without this software! The hidden camera also come equipped with 'video out' (and the appropriate cable) so your footage can be played back directly from the device onto an external monitor, TV, setup monitor, etc.

Our systems give you the ability to record continuously, be set in motion detection mode, or scheduled to record at specific times.

Play back your video footage in 2 ways:

Remove the Micro SD card and play back the video files on your PC using the included proprietary software and your media card reader. The video files are in a proprietary format, but the software allows you to export sections of footage (you choose start and stop time) into AVI or WMV format videos. This is useful if you need to provide a sample to authorities or if you want to email or share video clips on Facebook or YouTube.

Connect the device to your TV/HDTV/Monitor (with standard RCA video input) using the included video cable. Navigate your footage with the included IR remote control.

Night Vision (Optional)

Just because the lights go off doesn't mean your video surveillance should. This unit houses a bank of 940nM infrared LED illuminators that, although completely invisible to the human eye, enable the IR-sensitive camera to "see" 20 to 30 feet - even in 100% total darkness.

How to use the Covert Nanny Camera

Built inside of this unit is a color pinhole camera that records motion activated video footage to the built in DVR. You can set the unit to record continuously, scheduled, or on motion activation. When using motion activation, the camera will only record whenever someone moves in front of it. Because of this, you won�t have spend forever fast-forwarding the video to see when a person walks into the area you are monitoring. It also means you�ll be able to record a lot more footage since it doesn�t save the boring, useless video.

Each time motion occurs, the camera makes a new video file, which will make it easy to find the particular file you are after when you need to review footage.

So, for example, if someone walks in front of the camera 8 times in one day, there will be 8 different files that were recorded that have their own time stamp on it. You�ll know exactly when the events happened; it�s that simple!

The nanny camera is programmed so that the moment motion occurs, it starts recording and when motion stops, it records for a few seconds extra and then stops.

You can also change the video quality settings by using the included video cable to hook the clock radio up to a TV. Use the included remote control to change the time/date, video quality, motion sensitivity, erase the memory card, etc...

Settings such as recording quality, date/time, and recording schedules are accessible by plugging the product into your television using the included video cable. While most users want the camera active 24/7, you can have it record only during certain hours if you wish.

Viewing the footage is easy for any user

The Nanny Camera stores the video onto a removable memory card; the item has a hidden trap door which conceals the memory card, so only you will know how to access it.

Simply take out the SD card and plug it into your computer and start the video viewing program that is included in the box. Each video clip file that was recorded will have a date and time stamp in the corner, so you�ll know exactly when an event happened. The viewing software that comes with the camera allows you to convert the H.264 video into a .WMV or .AVI if you need to send it to anyone else for viewing.
